Alan Witter will be the guest speaker for our June luncheon. Prior to his retirement, Rev. Witter served as Chambersburg Fire Department Chaplain, as well as the Director of the Critical Incident Stress Management Program. Rev. Witter has lived in the Chambersburg area all his life. After joining the Navy in 1967, he served as a crash crew firefighter and rescue air crewman. He also served in Vietnam. Upon leaving the Navy, he attended the University of Maryland at College Park, Maryland, studying Fire Science and Technology. He later returned to Chambersburg, where he was employed as a Firefighter/EMT and Arson Investigator with the Chambersburg Fire Department. Alan was ordained in 1998, and has served in missions in Haiti and elsewhere in the West Indies, as well as in Uyo, Nigeria, and Nairobi, Kenya. Alan and his wife married in 1971, and continue to live here in Chambersburg. A (donation) luncheon will be served, and all are welcome to attend -- call 717-264-4113 to make a reservation.
